Mission Statement

The mission of Queens Satellite High School for Opportunity is to engage, embrace, and educate all students that walk through our doors as part of our learning community. Our school is dedicated to providing students who have opted out of traditional high schools, an opportunity to complete their education in a smaller, student centered learning community.  Our school commitment is to transform the lives of our students by dismantling the less than narratives that have been created for them and creating academic and life-long tools with them in order for them to improve their attendance, become active learners, prepare a post-secondary plan with them so they are be able to envision and work towards their future success.
