2024-2025 Career Opportunities

We are looking to hire multiple positions for the 2024 – 2025 school year. Ideally candidates would have a background in one of the areas below and have familiarity working with newly arrived English Language Learners and the Performance Based Assessment Task (PBAT) process. 

Teachers of:

• Science (Physical and Life) 
• English as a New Language
• Special Education
• World Language (Spanish, Chinese, etc) 
• Arts (all disciplines)

Support Staff:

• Community Associate 

Traditionally, we at Queens Satellite High School for Opportunity have served students who enroll at our school after going to another high school first.  In addition, we have a new program serving older newly arrived immigrants who speak English as a new language. For the 2024-2025 school year, we will focus on developing our program for newly arrived immigrants as well as designing and implementing gold standard projects.
